Does Guaranteed Targeted Web Site Traffic Bring Results?

Guaranteed targeted web site traffic is a very touchy subject...here's why.

You run an online herbal tea company...and you, like everyone else on the internet, need traffic every day. You need fresh unique visitors and you need repeat customers. But let's concentrate on those fresh new visitors for the sake of this article.

As you're looking around for the best ways to market, you keep seeing certain companies advertising through Google Adwords that they will guarantee targeted website traffic and immediately you race for your calculator.

Let's see...if I just get one tenth of one tenth of a percent, heck, I'll double my $100 investment. Hey, I could do this until the cows come home. Eureka! Honey, I found the golden nugget.

Hang on there, let me bring you down to reality for a moment.

There's a HUGE difference between someone who has been redirected to your site and someone who has come there willingly. And you need to constantly remember that as your calculator blazes away in your hands.

The guarantee happens because these companies WILL get your site seen. They do it by using pop unders. That just means that while I'm surfing for new DVD burners and surfing around in that area, one of those sites may be a 'partner' with the guaranteed traffic company and have YET another ad pop under theirs while I'm looking at their site.

Sounds a bit complicated. It's not.

The point is that I never intended to visit the site of the pop under. It never crossed my mind.

Now to the targeted part. Several of the top guaranteed targeted web site traffic now claim to offer targeted traffic...and they're honest about that. The way they do that is by having you enter keywords that define the category of web sites you want your popunders to appear under.

But guess what, that's a lot closer to feeling real, but I still never intended to visit that site...even if it looks good.

The fact is, for me, guaranteed targeted web site traffic sounds like a miracle...but if it was, why wouldn't everyone be doing it?
