Learn Italian Online For Free!

Learning Italian is fun! the Italian language is as beautiful as the people it comes from. Italian is quite similar to Spanish in many ways but not quite. It's one of the "romantic" languages and is a very good language to know if you ever plan to tour Italy on a vacation or if you're just going there for business.

Italian is spoken by an estimated sixty three million people world wide as a first language. It is one of the four official languages, as well as, the language of Vatican City.

One of the few drawbacks many of us face in learning a new language, regardless of which we choose to learn, is that lessons can get pricey. I've found an answer to that for you. You can learn the Italian language (lingua italiana) online for free!

Yes! FREE!!

Learning Italian can be such a valuable skill. Most people only bother to learn their native tongue...and even that barely. and while many people would go through the effort and study needed to learn Italian there's still the matter of the cost of lessons.

Well now you can learn to speak Italian for free online. The logic of making the effort is obvious. how much more valuable as an employee would you be were you bilingual? And imagine if you're bilingual in a language as unique and valuable as Italian!

Well, as promised, here's a few free online resources for learning to speak Italian for free:

1) http://learnitalian.elanguageschool.net/ is my first suggestion for you if you care to study and learn Italian online for free. They're purely advertising supported so they cost you nothing. The take you first through the basics, then Italian grammar (subject by subject or you can start with just the basics), then you get to focus on your nouns and verbs, and also common phrases in Italian. In addition you can also learn via pod casts.

As well, you'll find exercises and opportunities for practice, as well as links to other linguistic websites.

2) http://www.eurocosm.com/Eurocosm/learn-italian-GB.asp is my next recommendation since they don't offer so much as lessons, but rather, the chance to actually put the Italian language to use in games like crossword puzzles and games of hangman and the sort. There's no better way to make sure you're absorbing the Italian lessons than to actually use the language and to think about it in such ways.

You'll also learn some points on the history of the Italian language and some of the history of Italy herself. Kinda makes me wish I was Italian.

3) http://www.tutorialguide.net/spoken_languages/italian_language/ is another recommendation I'll make to those seeking to learn Italian online for free because not only will you find a well laid out tutorial, you'll also find the chance to learn other languages online for free as well.

You know...it's been said that your second language takes half the time it took you to learn your first language. Your third takes half that time, and from there you can average a language per year.

Am I the only one that gets an idea from this?

Being multi-linguistic can help anyone. Understanding a language other than your own will help you to also understand your native tongue that much better. Italian is a language that's closely related to several others in the world.

Since you don't need to shell out the dough for these online Italian tutorials, why not take advantage of them now? You know you want to.
