I’ve been using Tru Oil for a couple decades now and frankly there is no other wood finish that performs the way this stuff does.

This stuff is amazing! Easy to apply. Dries overnight to a durable gloss finish. Can be sanded in between coats.

Great for more than gunstocks!

Bought this after getting beat in a woodworking competition where a decorated gunstock beat out one of my guitars using Tru-oil. Bought a 20 oz. bottle and found it incredibly easy to layer up, dries comparatively fast, and is much harder than lacquer. Found bulk disposable non-linting application towels for application and basically put my spray equipment away for guitars. Just great stuff, and it takes very little to put on a coat. Takes 7-8 coats to get glassy. Polishes well with clear coat swirl polish. Just outstanding stuff.

Perfect for any woodworking project

I have used tru-oil for everything including gun stocks, ink pens and turkey calls and always get a flawless finish. Very durable and high gloss. It allows the natural color and grain of the wood to show without changing the color of the wood. I usually apply 3 coats buffing with 0000 steel wool between coats and get a “glass” finish.

Works AMAZING on Unfinished Guitar Necks!

I build custom guitars as a hobby and the guitar necks I get are unfinished wood which can be a bit too rough for most guitar players. I hate spraying lacquer on anything because it always seems to not look right and come out uneven. Then I discovered Casey Gun Stock Oil and Wax and couldn’t be happier!

I first heard about this product on an antique refinishing website. After reading several positive comments, raving about Tru-Oil, I knew I had to try some.

I fixed the floor!

Unknown to me (and the 5 other people with me) when I did the walkthroughs of this house, I was buying a house from crazy cat people. Cat people who let the cat pee sit there and soak into the carpet, the padding, and yes…the solid oak floor below.

and it’s turned out beautiful. Very easy to apply once the prep work …
