Features include deluxe hardshell case, herringbone purfling, dot position markers, asymetrical winged ebony bridge, ebony fingerboard, one-piece Indonesian mahogany neck with dual action truss rod, 1 3/4 inch nut, abalone ring rosette, strap button at the neck heel, and JLD bridge truss system.
Many wonder why the Pro C25/CR has a lower price tag. There are two main reasons. To begin with, the Pro Series does not offer much in the way of customization. Customers can select electronics, tuners, and nut/saddle, but can not customize other aspects, such as tonewoods. Additionally, half the initial work is done in South Korea, but the other half, including final set up and inspection, is done at Breedlove's shop in Bend, Oregon. These factors combine to produce a great sounding, all solid wood, handmade guitar at a great value.
