Guitar Review: Fender Stratocaster HSS Standard Electric Guitar

Fender Electric GuitarThe Fender Stratocaster HSS standard electric guitar is my guitar of choice. It has a great sound for blues, classic rock and acoustic rock that is played on an electric guitar. I have only owned the Fender brand of guitars throughout the last fifteen years. The Fender Stratocaster HSS standard electric guitar has gotten me through dozens of shows and endless hours of practice and music creation. I have owned my current Fender guitar for eight years and she plays just like new.

Fender Stratocaster HSS Standard Electric Guitar: Description

My Fender Stratocaster is sonic blue (also referred to as baby blue) in color with a blond neck made of maple. It contains two single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions and special switching for the humbucking bridge (another pickup). It also has a synchronized tremolo that has a vintage style and chrome hardware.

Fender Stratocaster HSS Standard Electric Guitar: Durability

I can tell you that my Fender Stratocaster is definitely durable. It has taken much abuse over the years between shows, daily playing and even dropping it a few times. It has a scratch on the bottom, but that;s it. The pick-ups have stayed in place and the bridge has remained like-new through dozens of re-stringings and tunings.

Fender Stratocaster HSS Standard Electric Guitar: Sound

I love the Fender Stratocaster standard because of its great blues sound. I play the blues daily and am always impressed with the clear blues sound my guitar generates. From finger plucking to picking, I know my Fender Stratocaster will put out the perfect sound every time.

Fender Stratocaster HSS Standard Electric Guitar: Tuning and Stringing

I find this guitar to be quite easy to string and tune. It can be strung in ten to fifteen minutes and even a beginner could do it. It takes about the same amount of time to tune. However, it doesn't need tuning often. I of course need to tune it after I restring it, but without being restrung it can hold its tune for about two weeks of playing it at least one to two hours a day.

I would personally recommend the Fender Stratocaster Standard to anyone. It is easy to play and maintain, has a great sound and it durable. It is the perfect guitar for professionals, beginners and everyone in between.
