Guitar Center In Plymouth Meeting Pennsylvania Is The Best Local Guitar Shop In The Tri State Area.

Buy GuitarGuitar Center in Plymouth Meeting Pennsylvania is the best local guitar shop in the tri state area.Neighborhood: PhiladelphiaPhiladelphia, PA19462United States of AmericaSometimes if you travel a little bit you can get a big payoff and reward. This is the case with guitar Center. they do not have one in my area, but carry a much wider selection than any of the stores in my area. they do not have the 1957 Les Paul on display, but with what they do have I can live with it. I actually have picked up a few effects and one Ibanez from Guitar Center and have not had a problem any time.

One thing I like about Guitar Center right off the bat is that just about everyone that works there has at least a good amount of knowledge on the various products they sell and play more than one instrument like bass, guitar, or drums. This makes it a much more pleasant experience when you are shopping for a guitar. They are also very helpful and don't pressure you on the spot. I can't stand music stores were you go in and ask to check out a guitar and the guy asks "are you going to buy it today?" There is none of that at guitar center. They also don't really care when you are testing something out. One salesman told me as long as you can reach it you can play it. They keep some of the more expensive guitars much higher up on the wall.

As I mentioned the selection is very wide at Guitar Center. They carry the full line of Gibson, ESP, Ibanez, Jackson, Dean, Schecter and countless others. I have never seen less than 100 guitars on display when I was in the stores and often times there are even more that run the gamut of prices from just under $100 to several thousand. They also carry a wide variety of amplifiers like Marshall, Fender, Vox, Line 6, Crate, Blackstar as well as others. If you want to add some spice to your sounds they have effects by Line 6, Boss, Digitech, and various others in both rack and pedal versions as well as multi-effects.

Guitar Center in Plymouth Meeting is a really nice store. There are Guitar Centers in various places and you can order online or in the store. Since I live in a tax free shopping state I often buy anything I want expensive I will try it in store and order online. Another way that you can save money is to Buy Guitar Center Gift cards online tax-free very often and then go to the store and pay with them. I learned about that trick with gift cards when I bought a pair of cowboy boots in North Carolina on the way back from my honeymoon

There are a couple other things that I really like about Guitar Center. Now all this does not apply to the local Guitar Center, but it is an extra service they can help you with. They have a vintage showroom in Hollywood, California that has classic gear like a 1968 Marshall Plexi and 1957 Fender Stratocaster and many others. Your local Guitar Center can help you order something you like. They also usually have several used items in each store. I actually found a couple classic Ibanez Pedals no longer made here for pretty good prices. If another store has it they can often arrange to get it for you. The guys up there even will call me and let me know if I want.

This is a great local shop that also has a national presence and I highly recommend it to any guitar player. They do sell drums and other equipment as well. They do have an email list you can sign up for that allows you to get special discounts. They offer free shipping and almost always have discounts from 10-20% regularly off of their sale prices. This is not like some of those stores that artificially inflate the price then put the discount on.
